The concept of Alispacecia was inspired by the personal story of determined woman called Alicia, who experienced homelessness after the breakdown of an abusive relationship. Alicia found herself in many different spaces to ensure she had shelter over her head each night. From sleeping on a friend's couch, shared accommodation to even spending the night in a police station with her two young children. No matter where Alicia was situated, long term or short term, she always ensured that her space was clean and comfortable. Every space, hostel or box room was Alicia's space. We have taken this practice to build our mission, ethos and values. We believe that living and working spaces should be clean comfortable and safe no matter the circumstances..
